I never really got the American Idol thing, I just always thought it wasn't much more than a ploy by the music business to find lesser undiscovered talent and get paid by the TV Networks to do it. Pretty successful ploy...Clarkson is definitely the most talented of all the American Idol singers, but in the end she just seems like another female vocalist. Her albums aren't a bad listen, they just collect dust a lot :)

George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dyan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, if there every was such a thing as a 'supergroup' well you'd have to say that the Traveling Wilburys qualify no matter what your standards are. This is basically their two albums repackaged with a dvd of some video of them. With the original albums being out of print, this is a very nice way to add the Wilburys to your collection.

I'm not a fan of most rap music, yeah there is some i semi like (even a track or two off vanilla's first album), but if you want to make even the most die hard rap listener beg ya to put in that cheesey 80s pop your such a fan of, well pop this little cd in the tray. :P

If you say, Swedish Country Dance Band to most people they will go....I'll pass...actually their music is a bit addicting, definitely not your typical american fare. This 'Best Of' album is actually a bit of a let down, I find their 1st album 'Sex & Violins' a much better overall listen to this one.
