You know an artist has some real singing ability when he can make a 16th century lute composer's music sound good. This album isn't going to everyone's cup of tea, but Sting makes this type of music as accessible as its going to get to the masses. I part-time mess around with the SCA, so this music isn't all that foreign to me, pretty well done too, wish Sting would show up as feast entertainment at the next event I attend :)

Okay I'm a closet Porter fan, so sue me :) Its a good album but you can tell that time has taken its toll on his vocals, but you gotta give this ol' ozark boy some credit for still slinging it this well in his 70's...Go Porter Go! :)
